Indiana’s Elite Services recently earned a civic nod for our growth as a regional, entrepreneurial operation.
Owner Alejandro Saucedo earned first place and the “Emerging Excellence Award” at the City of South Bend Supplier Access Summit pitch competition, held Oct. 9, 2025, at the Gillespie Conference Center. The recognition highlighted entrepreneurial leadership, measurable community impact and a clear plan for where our company is headed.
At the summit, two South Bend Entrepreneurship and Adversity Program entrepreneurs, Saucedo and Mia Diggins of Mia More Oils LLC, competed in the pitch competition and shared how their businesses are creating value locally. Saucedo’s presentation took top honors and also earned a $2,000 pitch prize.

The pitch topic was direct and forward-looking: Indiana’s Elite Services is gaining General Contractor capacity. The message focused on our progress and process: Here is what we have built. Here is how we scaled it. Here is how we can help others grow through what we have learned.
That mindset also shows up in how Indiana’s Elite Services engages with the City of South Bend’s supplier diversity efforts. We participate as a business that is still learning and strengthening systems, while also stepping into a mentor and educator role to help other entrepreneurs understand what it takes to scale responsibly.
Our strongest proof point is workforce development. Indiana’s Elite Services is creating pathways that move team members from $15 to $17 per hour roles into $25 per hour project manager positions on larger projects. It’s a practical example of community impact built into our daily operations, with better-paying opportunities tied directly to leadership development and project growth.
